Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fach ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Fach is a personal collection management app that allows you to catalog books, vinyl records, magazines, and other collectibles. The App provides features including barcode scanning, AI-powered item identification, cloud sync, and personalized recommendations.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

Subscriptions

Fach Pro

Fach Pro is an optional subscription that provides unlimited AI-powered scanning and additional features. Subscriptions are available as:

  • Monthly: $6.99 per month
  • Annual: $49.99 per year (save 40%)

Billing

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the App, including collection data, photos, and notes. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Fach and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. AI-powered features may not always provide accurate results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
